Hon. Sanni Salau Ogembe the people's choice in the last Kogi state house of assembly election under the banner of People Democratic Party (PDP) was been addressed as the hope of the future in a stake holder meeting held on Tuesday, 30, July in Asokoro Abuja.

Hon. Suleiman Ibrahim, the son of former Kogi state governor, Alh. Ibrahim Idris who happened to be the chairman of the meeting did not just forseen hon. Sanni's victory at the tribunal but also have the sight of the future and address him as the hope of the future.

The good people of Okene II constituency  never relent their efforts in supporting the winning team of evolution with prayer, they also confirmed hon. Sanni to be the Messiah of Okene II constituency.

Hon. Sanni Salau Ogembe is charismatic leader that will never be forgetting in the history of Okene II and Kogi state politics, his natural love for his people earn him more supporters within and outside Okene II constituency.

Kogi guber: the best efforts of Yahaya Bello is “not good enough” ~Averehi

A governorship aspirant and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Bayo Adobanyin Averehi believes Gov. Yahaya Bello has not done enough to merit a second term in office. Speaking to newsmen during his formal declaration at the PDP secretariat in Lokoja, Averehi said Bello needs help as he does not have what it takes to excel as governor.
