Why Okara was Dismissed Barely 24 Hours After Appearing On African Independent Television (AIT).



Barely 24 hours after appearing on African Independent Television (AIT) in defense of the Governor Yahaya Bello led New Direction government, Arc Abdulmumeen Okara has been sacked from his office as the Special Adviser to the governor on Sustainable Development Goals.

The termination of his appointment was contained in a letter signed by the Secretary to the Government, Dr Folashade Arike.

The letter directed Okara to hand over all government property in his custody to the most senior Director in the agency.

While details of the bane of his dismissal  remain yet a mystery having served in the agency from the inception of the government, grapevines said he recently entered the black book of the Governor.

The government however wished Okara the best in his future endeavours.

Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has terminated the appointment of Abdulmumeen Okara as his Special Adviser/Focal Person on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
