Let me clarify this real quick; party members constitute but a very small fraction of the electorates. As a matter of fact, they are negligibly insignificant.

Dear Kogites, do not be swayed by the news of “leaders” and “big names” defecting to the APC who in recent times has caused you pains and hardship.

You—the good people of Kogi State, are all that is needed to defeat economic stagnation, poverty, hunger and bad governance as epitomized by the failed administration of Yahaya Bello.

In all fairness, if these so called “leaders” don’t leave, there will be no space for you and I. Let them go and collect their own share of Bello’s loot. After all, it is kogi money.

A governorship aspirant and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Bayo Adobanyin Averehi believes Gov. Yahaya Bello has not done enough to merit a second term in office. Speaking to newsmen during his formal declaration at the PDP secretariat in Lokoja, Averehi said Bello needs help as he does not have what it takes to excel as governor. He described the best efforts of Governor Bello as “not good enough”.
