......Asks For Sustainable Empowerment Of Kogi Youths

Following the recent Press Release of PDP Youth Vanguard, Kogi Chapter, under the control of the ever conscious and dynamic Coordinator, Hon Musa Olumayowa Yakubu, promising to release Campaign Vehicles for the success of the party's flag bearers, Wada/Aro Mandate, he was yesterday invited to meet with the Governorship Candidate, Engr Musa Wada for familiarization and possibly unmask the group's agenda for the Campaign Orginazation

The meeting which took place at Summerset Continental Hotels, Maitama, Abuja had in attendance, Hon Jambright Sunmonu, Hon Taiwo Paul and other highly placed members of PDP. Expressing the readiness of Kogi Youths to vote out the current ''directionless''  government of APC/Yahaya Bello, Hon Musa Olumayowa Yakubu stated that, ''It is an open-secret to understand that even the APC Youths in the State are not pleased with the current situations let alone young members of other political parties. This is because sizeable numbers of Kogi Youths are not gainfully employed while the few elites among them have been reduced to praise singers of the current government. This set of young individuals known as Data Boys/Girls are cunningly ''empowered'' with monthly subscriptions of data to praise sing and release propagandas on behalf of the government. Against this fraudulent and backward form of empowerment, PDP Youth Vanguard is advocating for a total paradigm shift to series of sincere, profitable and sustainable empowerments for Kogi Youths. This is one of the reasons we have first demonstrated our readiness by providing vehicles for grassroots mobilization. As a group who believes in the future, we first asked ourselves the question of what we can do for this mandate now and after the success of the party in the November election, we can conveniently ask for what the government can do for youths in return''.

In his reaction, Engr Musa Wada, the humble and ever smiling Governorship Candidate, who couldn't hide his joy, openly praised the efforts of PDP Youth Vanguard and promised to give us all necessary supports towards having seamless, robust and successful outings before, during and after the election. He went further to instantly grant the group's request of total transformation of Kogi Youths from the current hopeless situation to a more secured, promising, profitable, remarkable and sustainable existence. This, he promised to give a serious attention when he becomes the State's Governor.

Hon Musa Olumayowa Yakubu, on behalf of the entire youths of the State, thanked Engr Musa Wada, that in spite of his tight schedules, he welcomed us warmly, delayed all other engagements, listened to us with rapt attention and gave us a hopeful/promising response. He pledged that the campaign vehicles and other materials will be presented to the Campaign Organization at a later date, in presence of the National Coordinator of the group, Comrade Joshua Eyitayo under whose approval the vehicles will be released. Happily, he also doubles as a citizen of the State.
