INAUGURATION OF PDP CAMPAIGN COMMITTEES: A NOTE OF GRATITUDE



I wish to use this medium to, on behalf of the entire campaign organization express my profound gratitude and deep appreciation to all Elders, Leaders, Members of the Peoples' Democratic Party and other progressive-minded Kogites who trooped out in very large numbers to witness the formal Inauguration of all Committees for the forthcoming November 16th, 2019 Kogi Governorship election.

As the convoy of our Governorship candidate, his running mate, Engr Musa Wada and Hon. Sam Aro, with other party Leaders, moved into Lokoja and around the city to the venue, the mammoth crowd of Kogites who heartily, joyfully and excitedly welcomed the entourage, is not only an eloquent desire of Kogites for authentic change of government, but worthy endorsement of the PDP's candidate s and the party.


As I thank our loyal and faithful party members from the East, West and Central Senatorial Districts and other parts of the country, who,  inspite  short notice, made it to the event, I assure us all that your passion, sacrifices and commitment to the Wada/Aro Governorship aspiration shall not only be recognized but rewarded. I am confident that as we kick-start campaigns in all the nooks and crannies of our dear state, giving messages of hope for a better, prosperous and brighter Kogi state to the people, our candidate and the PDP shall coast to victory on Saturday, 16th November, 2019.


I am prayerfully hopeful and positively confident that the vast majority of Kogites and voters having endured over three years of despondency, despair, hunger, penury, poverty, anguish and dehumanization are very eager to the needful by using their electoral franchise to massively vote for the PDP through whom they are guaranteed and assured better living standards, regular payment of salaries, protection of lives and properties, respect for human dignity, meaningful, visible and enduring infrastructural development as well as equal opportunities for personal development.

The boy behind the crying meme that has been trending on social media finally speaking on what happened the day the photo was taken. He said, it all happened when he was with his grandmother in the village, where his friend parsuaded him to play dice with the money his grandmother sent him to used and bought garri. I was crying when I lost the money my mother gave me to bought garri from the market, so I started crying and later thought of increasing the rate of my crying to attracted the attention of people hoping to see someone who will help me, the boy narrated. Knowing that the punishment for what he has done is starving to for two whole days is what triggered his crying in other to seek the attention of the good Samaritans who will help him, what baffle him is how the photo was taken and made viral, the boy explained.

Guber Poll: November 16, A Sure Deal For PDP As Kogi Youths Thrown Their Weight Behind Engr Musa Wada.

A foremost sociopolitical interest group, Kogi Youth Roundtable has thrown their weight behind the mandate of Engr Musa Wada in the November 16 gubernatorial election in the state. In a statement made public by the National Publicity of the group, Comrade Jerry Ochada, the forum endorsed the ambition of Musa Wada at the end of its 27th Stakeholders council which reached a climax in Lokoja on Saturday. According to the resolution, the decision of the youths to endorse Wada is in line with the obvious lapses of the incumbent governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello attested by majority of Kogites and Nigerians as an unrepentant failure.
