Kogi Guber: Alleged APC Thugs Attack Natasha in INEC Stakeholders Meeting
Thugs suspected to be working for the Ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), on Tuesday, attacked the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Barr Natasha Akpoti at the stakeholders' meeting organized by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Lokoja.
According to an eye witness, "the incidence happened in the presence of Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, the Inspector General, Mohammed Adamu, amongst other security chiefs.
"It took the attention of the men of the Nigerian Army to rescue the SDP governorship candidate from the venue", the eye witness added.
Recall, the SDP had earlier alleged that there's ongoing plan to attack the convoy of its candidate whom it said the APC candidate, Governor Yahaya Bello is seeing a rock of Gibraltar standing his way.
This is coming barely four days to Kogi State governorship election.
