Kogi Guber Poll: Liberate Yourselves From Poverty Spread By Apc, Oyarazi Tells Kogi Electorate

The National Publicity Secretary of Women Gender Frontier, Atta Oyarazi Aisha, on Saturday urged the people of Kogi to vote out Gov, Yahaya Bello, in order to liberate themselves from poverty and underdevelopment..

Oyarazi who addressed some selected journalist in Lokoja to drum support for the SDP governorship candidate, Natasha Apoti, said the election was an opportunity for the people to end years of bad governance in the state.

The Women Gender Frontier, Publicity who was accompanied to the conference hall by national officers of the forum, called on the people to embrace positive change and “dump the bad past.”

“The state is still stuck in the failed promises of CHANGE ,” Aisha said and stressed that it was time for Kogi people to vote wisely in order to protect the future of their children. No free education, no free health care, parents still pay for their children waec fees, no teacher waa employ, where's the change?

Aisha said the SDP is targeting 80 per cent of the votes during the governorship election, pledging that it would bring about total positive change in the lives of the people.

The Kogi State Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja, on Monday, ended the prejudgment proceeding on the consolidated petition by Natasha Akpoti of SDP and Ahmed Ogembe of PDP against Yakubu Oseni of APC. While defending his petition, the Counsel to Natasha Akpoti of SDP, Ayo Asala (SAN), adopted his final written address and the arguments therein. Asala (SAN) argued that the Counsel to the second and third Respondents (APC & Oseni) went against the judgment of the Appeal Court when they sought the relief of the Tribunal to dismiss Natasha Akpoti's petition for what they termed incompetency of the witnesses that presented the evidence gathered in the course of inspecting INEC materials used for the 2019 Kogi Central senatorial election.
