The attention of Kogi Central PDP Digital Media Team has been drawn to a statement credited to one Dr. Tom Ohikere, who happens to be one of the spokesman of the APC campaign council in Kogi State.
The statement credited to Mr Tom, wherein he claimed that the PDP is indulging in a campaign of calumny is nothing short of reckless, irresponsible, misguided and at best, the aftermath of a one night off in the beer pallor as the former chief of staff to Kogi State Governor once posited about Ohikere.
It is a pity as to how the once-mighty Tom Ohikere has become less than somebody who never started anything good in life, no thanks to the plague called APC.
Time after time, the PDP in Kogi State have had reasons to find it needful to descend into the gutter with Tom Ohikere but for decency which has been the hallmark and trademark of the PDP which everybody know and respect the PDP for.
On this note, the PDP- DMT yet again, in it's focused nature resists the temptation to engage an elder who has chosen to dance to any beat in the market square.
The manner at which Mr. Tom Ohikere monitors PDP activities these days, one will wonder if he is the APC Monitoring Officer for PDP activities. This goes to show that the APC, a new found lover of Tom Ohikere at this history-making time, that he now holds briefs for, has nothing to show for all these years in Government House, so it has turned Tom Ohikere into an "opposition of the opposition" rather than showing Kogites practical proofs of good governance and projects executed by the Government, if any at all.
The Kogi Central PDP-DMT also wonders what business has Tom Ohikere with PDP Campaign in Kogi East. This is a pointer to the fact that his appointment as a campaign Spokesperson of the APC is a good-for-nothing arrangement, it is simply an idea to finish a once-mighty pen and voice like him.
These days, Tom Ohikere writes and one wonders if he is seeking for cheap fame or if it's not the same man that, until his appointment into the APC Campaign some weeks back, is a noble name to reckon with in Kogi State, being a highly celebrated former Commissioner for Information in the State.
Rather than keep a name, Tom Ohikere has chosen to drown his name which should be worth more than gold with the already-rejected APC and Yahaya Bello Government. Ohikere has jettisoned reasoning and thrown caution to the winds to toe the path of political doom with the APC in Kogi State.
On a final note, the Kogi Central PDP Digital media team urges Tom Ohikere to speak truth to power at all time by telling Governor Yahaya Bello to forget about Campaign and focus on payment of salaries and pensions and repairs of Kogi roads, to mention but a few of the primary purpose of a Government.
